(Wasn't sure where to put this, it's time-sensitive, no pun intended, and would make a good read if you didn't want to be a part of it. Questions go up at 3pm, eastern I assume?)

Lev Grossman is an novelist and journalist, notably the author of the novels Codex and The Magicians. He is also a senior writer and book critic for Time Magazine. He was the author of the Time Person of the Year 2006 article on "You" and the 2010 Persona of the Year article on Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg. His novels have been reviewed by FantasyBookReview, among others; he says that he wrote The Magicians, which is itself sort of Narnia fanfiction, because, "I hadnt yet gotten over my bitterness that I hadnt been plucked out of my boring, humdrum world and chosen to be a king."
