We'd seen it but only a small version, just couldn't seem to sift through all the celebs and pick him out... everyone in white with basically the same colors in the picture, thumbnails were just too hard at the moment to find him! Thanks, though!

I got a direct link somehow. One of my Tweeps tweeted it I think. As I scrolled through the pics, I saw quite a few ST people, including Rod Roddenberry.

There's a new interview with DK in a pop culture online mag called The Morton Report. (I love the tagline for the site: "Where popular culture meets swanky living.") There's nothing especially new in it, but it's a nice read and I love the author for writing "Sadly, unlike the previous three Trek spin-offs, Enterprise did not last seven years." (My emphasis.)

I read this too, and what I found interesting is: Why would a Web Site like the Morton Report do an article on Dominic Keating and Enterprise? I mean other than the obvious; Keating is a Brit, where is the tie in to their audience? Enterprise was the lowest rated of all the Trek Series and Keating wasn't exactly the headline star ... so why the love? The optimist in me would like to think that there is a pick up of interest in Enterprise in today's Pop Culture, but I don't know. Maybe I'm just too much of a Fan Boy.

The connection that she and Trip had shared was no mere casual dalliance. It was identical to the link that united two of her oldest friends in the bonds of Syrrannite marriage. And that makes Charles Tucker my mate, she thought ... TRW:BTRW

My understanding is that Enterprise was a pretty big hit in the UK, even when it aired.

Do you think that drove the article?

Dominic was also known in Britain before Enterprise, he had a long-term role in a popular show, The Desmonds.

Or maybe someone at the Morton Report wuvs him. ;)

Probably a combination of all three. I know I remember watching Enterprise on terrestrial TV when it first aired, before we had digital or satellite, which means it was pretty big show. Though it inevitably moved to satellite eventually. And Desmond's was a really great, popular show, a classic sitcom, and us Brits love our classic sitcoms. Well, I do, anyway.

I was lucky enough to catch a couple of whole episodes of Desmonds and some clips of others. That was a great show and Dominic was a heck of a lot of fun as "Tony" in it!

Not having spent any time in The UK, I will happily defer to your opinions on this. I was just pleasantly surprised to see such a favorable article like this one six years after Enterprise's premature death.
