I have made two references in the Twilight thread about Jon Kraukauer's fantastic, balanced and fair-minded expose on polygamist cults in Utah. He's hard on them, but he also puts them in cultural context and offers ways in which they could be allowed to exist inside the law (and ways to stop the rampant pedophilia).
