Okay, so in terms of the Expanse, it's a small 'ship. Not many people are writing it--but still, that's not an excuse not to nominate. Because even if a story gets nominated and is unopposed, that's still an honorable mention, and that's still meaningful to the author because enough people thought enough of the piece to get it a nom.
But here's the problem: we only have a few weeks left, and people are slacking. I know we all got crap going on, but really? Waiting until later only increases the probability that "something comes up" and you never get to it. Even if you just send in a nomination or two every time you log in, it would knock some off your list and make things easier for yourself when later comes.
REMEMBER: any lobbying done in the Tucker/Reed forum or the main Expanse Awards Discussion thread does not count as a nomination! You must PM the story title, the author's name, and the url of the story to the Expanse Awards account. Only then will a nomination be official!
Now go give your 'ship a nom!
