Canon Schamanon: The August AU Challenge

Okay, while people are still working on their TV Land fics, it’s time to start thinking about the next big challenge. I’m announcing it with plenty of time to give people a generous window of time during which they can sign up.

This challenge is inspired by the Alternate Mirrors profic series of short stories. You will be assigned an episode at random, and you will write a story that imagines the consequences if that episode had ended differently.

For example, it’s very popular among the TnT ship to rewrite the episode “Home” if T’Pol chose not to marry Koss. (Sorry guys, it’s been done so that episode won’t be on our list.)

We’ll be picking episodes from all four seasons, and you’ll be free to focus on whatever character or pairings you like. You’ll just have to use your assigned episode as a jumping off point and radically change the outcome of the episode somehow. Hopefully, this will be a fun way to break the shackles of canon and imagine your own AU!

I think this one will be within my realm of capabilities (I have still not been able to settle in to my March history challenge, even tho an outline is on paper....just cannot seem to give it form!) This one will be good for me.

How long are you going to run this one for? I haven't done Classic TV yet, and Chaucher is gonna kick my ass until August 8.
