Doctor Who's Brigadier General Lethbridge-Stewart. I didn't post anything until I found some semblance of a regular news outlet stating it. Twitter was going berzerk last night.
Nick Courtney was an absolute doll. My husband and I got to know him over a weekend con we helped put together and worked twenty years or so ago. The Brig was always one of my favorite Who characters.
He will be missed. And I'm getting old....

Such a shame 
I was always hoping he'd make a reappearance in Dr Who (his appearance in Sarah Jane Adventures was great) - now it will never happen.
