True Blood

All right, I like True Blood - but I don't have HBO, which makes it hard to be a superfan.

However, I thought the True Blood fans on the site might appreciate this:

I need to Netflix this series. I didn't even have its network when I actually had cable. Now I'm down to rabbit ears and a digital decoder box. :(

Ah, Civilization, how I miss you!

I watch True Blood and love it, even if it is gory as all get out.
I must say that I saw more of John Billingsley than I ever expected to see

Not only see so much of him but the things he said and did.

Although, I would have liked to have seen Alcide frolicking in one of those parties though. Oh well.

I did love the Snoop Dog video before this season started. It's become one of my favorites.

As for the show, I was a big fan of the Sam/Tara ship but thought they weren't going to revisit that one until the scene where I realized I was too young to see what I had seen.

I also love Terry/Arlene, Lafayette/Jesus, and Jessica/Hoyt. Also there's Alcide, to just stand there and look pretty... is that so wrong?

I was a little disappointed in the season finally because it felt like they were holding back for next season. I've heard that they were not greenlit for the next season (which seems strange to me but oh well) so they left the ending as a cliffhanger/somewhat ending but it still felt flat to me.

I am in total agreement with you crystalswolf. Plenty of great couples on that show and the finale was a bit anticlimactic.
