Trek Actors in Another Life

Postby Glory1863 » Thu Jan 27, 2011 2:58 pm

Over in the Connor Trinneer appreciation thread, we've been lamenting that we don't get to see enough of the gentleman post-Trek. I feel that way about him and a lot of other actors from the Trek franchise. How about we check out YouTube for video clips of our favorite Trek actors doing other things?

Since Kathy Rose has talked me into writing Chef adventure drabbles, I think I'll start with this:

Rene Auberjonois (Odo) is one hell of a chef.

OMG! That was Rene? I never realized!

Now I have this image of Odo singing that on DS9. Get out of my head!
Old enough to know better, but that's never stopped me before.

This is audio only, unfortunately.

Data gets political: Brent Spiner as John Adams in the Broadway revivial of 1776

More Rene Auberjonois (Odo) for his fans (audio only). This time he plays a con man, The Duke, in Roger Miller's musical version of Huckleberry Finn Big River. I hope Quark never finds out!

Rene is famous for being a real French chef and one heck of an artist. I've seen his artwork he's multitalented.Dominic keatings commercial with the Chimp on Youtube is really funny.Look for Dominic's has a Youtube Music video with the group Pale Blue ascot Under the moon from the 1980s.The big hair he has in the video you won't recognize him at first.

I totally remember that commercial!

At the meet and greet at STLV last August, Dominic said when he auditioned for that, he was massively hung over from a three-day bender.

Here's Dominic Keating as Ian Westbury fronting Fierce Blue Ascot. It was a commercial for Sprint-Nextel's music service. Roaring Mice did a 3-part series Fierce Blue over at Warp 5 based on Malcolm having been Ian before Starfleet. Once I knew where that came from, I must admit I had fun with it, too, Under the Serious Moonlight. In my case, I suppose it would help if you were a David Bowie fan.
