Honeybee, I wanted to explain my birthday greeting. You see today is my birthday and I get all kinds of grief in my house about making lists for absolutely everything. That is apparently a Virgo trait, so the phrase 'never trust a Virgo, they make too many lists' is a running joke around here. Although I guess I'm even a little more on the cusp than you (by one day)
I didn't want to step on your special day with my lengthy and somewhat stupid explanation :D

Hey! I resemble that! --> Fellow compulsive list-making Virgo.

I'm all for lists -- they keep me organized and productive, and heaven knows I need help remembering everything.

But there was one day when I realized that perhaps I like making lists too much. The first thing on my list that day was "Make List."

That's so funny! My mother is a very neat Pisces and is always saying "what kind of Virgo are you" when she sees my chaos. I get to answer, it's organized in my head, Mom.

It's been years since I actually worked with astrological charts but the one thing I do remember is that signs are VERY complicated. Your (sun) sign is the way you see yourself while your Asc (Rising sign) is how others see you (it might be the other way around but I'm pretty sure it's this way).

This can be extremely accurate when all signs are combined. Like mine for instance, I'm an Aries but my Asc is Pisces. What I see is that I have to rein in my aggressive side while people that just meet me think I'm quite docile. Those who've known me for years think I have split personalities, but there you go.

Then you throw in the moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, etc. signs.

Well all I know is that marking something off one of my many lists is so satisfying that I can't stop :dunno

How true! My husband accuses me of padding my lists with easy things just so I can mark them off.

I'm a Sagittarius with Aries rising.

I tend to NOT make lists and just wing it a lot of the time.
