What bothers me about a lot of the shades of blond Jolene's sported is that they wash her out. It's like when a couple of years ago Tyra Banks had hers a dark ash blond color--it was so chromatically similar to her skin tone, it was actually distracting. A lot of Jolene's blonds did that with her skin tone. But, I will say (my expert opinion here) that for those shades of blond, a style like the pic above that is swept away from the face is best, because her face returns to being the prominent feature, and not the distraction of trying to determine where her face ends and her hair begins.

i totally agree aquarius, I was watching a behind the scenes interview/thing with Jolene and her hair was long and blonde, and it was just totally distracting.. Maybe I can try to cap it later.
