An Evening with Edgar Allan Poe highlights

These are highlights of his one-man play, Nevermore. Here's a Backstage magazine interview with both Jeffrey Combs & Stuart Gordon about Nevermore. Highly recommended and I would not be surprised in the least if this leads to a movie about Poe, with Combs starring.

I don't know if anyone's heard, but Connor has scored a re-appearing role in Pretty Little Liars. I don't know much about the show and there was nothing on the website: http://abcfamily.go.com/shows/pretty-little-liars but apparently he announced it at a con over the weekend.

Is there someone from Trek involved behind the scenes with the Mentalist? They've been using an awful lot of people from Enterprise. Not that it's a bad thing--quite the opposite!--I like seeing them get work. But it makes you wonder--I know Hollywood people often like to use people they've worked with before. It saves time and money finding someone for a part if they already know they like the actor and the actor in question is willing to do it.

Yes. Peter Lauritson, an Associate Producer of the Mentalist was a Producer on Voyager and Deep Space Nine and Supervising Producer on Enterprise.

Roxanne Dawson (Star Trek: VOY, B'Elanna Torres Torres, also a Director on Enterprise) has been a director on the Mentalist.

If I looked through all the names on the lists of producers, directors and casting directors for the Mentalist there'd probably be a few more people who've worked with our favorite ENT actors many times and know they can bring it when needed.

It's official. Anthony Montgomery got picked up for a four episode arc on the show "Single Ladies" to premiere on VH1 this July. Here's some news on the show: New Movie ‘Single Ladies’ to Premiere on VH1 in July 2011

Anthony mentions it on his official website:

VH1's original movie Single Ladies, executive produced by Queen Latifah, will spawn the music/reality channel's first hourlong scripted series. Stacey Dash, LisaRaye McCoy, Charity Shea, and DB Woodside starred in the movie, which was shot in the summer. Production on the eight-episode series will start at the end of this year, with the movie and the series both premiering in July 2011. Queen Latifah is set to guest star on the show. Single Ladies, written by Stacy Littlejohn and directed by Tamra Davis, is a relationship comedic drama set in the world of Atlanta fashion, music, and celebrity.
