Reed and Hayes

A fan of Archer/Shran or how about Reed/Hayes - here's the place to discuss.

Reed and Hayes

Postby Mistress Euclid » Mon Sep 13, 2010 7:36 pm

I've just started dipping my toe into the Reed/Hayes world. As some of you know, I've paired them off in my current story. However, they are a minor plot point.

However, I quite enjoyed this fic:

Surrender by Kylie Lee

I will recommend more as I find them.

In honor of the Queen of the three-way, how about a Reed, Hayes, and Tucker PWP. Very NC-17

"Trust" is also another good Reed/Hayes story by Kylie Lee at Warp 5. I believe it's set before "Surrender."
Old enough to know better, but that's never stopped me before.

The relationship between Reed and Hayes was going to be rocky right from the start, there can be no doubt that Reed regretted much of what he had done in The Expanse. Like everyone else, he had his own ghosts to settle when they got back to Earth ...

A powerful examination of grief and forgiveness. Just one of many Personal Logs.

How did I miss this? Well, I've had to refresh my memory a bit to make some recommendations (like that's a fate worse than death  ).

Standing Down by Rusty Armour (part of the Reed/Hayes series Circumventing Authority) rated NC-17. Hayes gains some insight into Reed's behavior and the problems that exist between them.

Its Proper Place by Ragged Rose rated NC-17. Reed has a late-night talk with himself about sex.

Letting Go by Kedakai rated PG-13. Reed has trouble coping after a close combat skirmish in the Expanse.

Shadows in the Dark by Pretzelduck rated PG-13. In a future AU, nightmares plague Hayes and Reed's sleep.

Matchmaking, MACO Style by Pretzelduck rated R. The MACOs conspire to get Hayes to do something about his attraction to Reed.

Through Another Pair of Eyes by Pretzelduck rated PG-13. Tucker joins Reed and Hayes for a meal and observes some changes in the pair's relationship.

The Hayes Series by Gigi Sinclair. Four stories rated PG to NC-17. Great Hayes backstory.
