Favorite T/R fanfic?

I'm introducing myself here as a T/R fan. (I'm one of those odd ones who's also a TnT fan!) I've not yet written anything but I've got several pieces jotted down as notes and maybe someday I'll get around to turning them into something more.

I've read a ton of stuff over at the Warp 5 complex, so if you're looking for something I've probably seen it. In the meantime, here's a couple of recommendations:

The series "Acceptable Risk" (NC17) by Kylie Lee.

The short story "Major Reed, The Great Shapeshifting Spider And I" (PG13) by Sita Z

I second "Acceptable Risk" - Kylie Lee is a great writer! I believe she's one of the site owners over there, is she not?

I've always thought this little story was charming:

Decon: The Movie by Kyrdwyn

I suppose I have a voyeuristic streak that this story speaks to.

My all-time favorite Trip/Malcolm story is the epic:

As Morning Shows the Day by Sal

It is a Trip/Malcolm NC-17 set in an alternate universe where Vulcans are a warrior race with slaves.

I've always been rather fascinated by this particular fic by ELF. Trip's right on point - but the Malcolm plotline is wildly OOC. And yet, I liked the fic enough to read it several times. I think that's what well-written smut can do.

Those Days are Over by Elf

I've always enjoyed Down To Gehenna Or Up To The Throne by Kedakai. It's rated as NC-17, but that's not really the part I remember. The author describes it as a "soap opera fic", but the misunderstandings the boys have are, I think, realistic and serious.

For younger or more sensitive viewers :) , there's Sita Teyla's Bed Rest where Trip finds out just how difficult to manage an ill Malcolm can be. This one is rated PG.

With Halloween coming up, you might enjoy El Diablo by Surya. It's rated R, and the last line is a real kicker.

If you liked Sal's "As Morning Shows The Day", then you might like Sita Z's 2-story series Silence. The first is rated NC-17 and the second PG-13.

If you don't mind Mpreg, then Weebob's 4-story series Just One More is quite enjoyable. The stories are rated either R or NC-17.

For a very nice pre-series Trip/Malcolm encounter, there is The Right Place At The Right Time by ClassicTrek. It's rated PG-13.

In the mood to feel sad and maybe have a bit of a cry? Try Edible Lit's Twilight: Elegy. It's rated G.

That should keep you out of trouble for awhile. :D

This was the first Enterprise fanfic I ever read, and I loved it, thoroughly seconded.

One of my very favourite Tucker/Reed stories would have to be the Human Touch series by Surya. Excellent.

I also love Earth Expects... by Glory1863, even if it breaks one's heart.

Holy cow Glory1863, I stupidly did not realize that 'Earth Expects' was yours.
I read it a long time ago and loved it. In fact I just this minute reread it.
So poignant and moving. Bravo!
