Kelby and D'Nesh

I honestly think that the Orion Slave Girl D'Nesh and commander Kelby would make a great pair.

In the episode Bound, D'Nesh is flirtatious and touchy/feely. But, those were the only good traits she had.

I am currently writing a fanfiction story that has D'Nesh as one of the good guys and dating Kelby. It is called Star Trek Enterprise: Renegade Orion Slave Girls and it is on fanfiction.net.

Thanks! Orions sure do have a lot of potential.

The idea for the pairing came when I was writing for the first chapter of the story. I was originally going to have both Navaar and D'Nesh executed. However, I decided to save D'Nesh and have her be among the group of Orions that left the Orion Syndicate.

I believe that D'Nesh is the perfect girl for Kelby, despite the events of "Bound".

I think it's a cool idea, given that in the reboot it's clear that at least one Orion female broke away from the syndicate enough so that she could attend the academy.

So, a Human/Orion romance that inspired D'Nesh to leave the syndicate would certainly help build toward that possibility.

This could be true for both the prime reality and the alternate reality. D'Nesh's relationship with Kelby probably helped to build to that possibility.
