Your Stash

I'm curious. Do any of you collect Star Trek memorabilia or Star Trek-themed "stuff"? (You know, posters, t-shirts, costumes, stickers, what-have-ye.) If you do, what's your favorite thing in your collection? Got anything that's Enterprise? Is there anything you use on a regular basis, or is it all purely collector's items?

I've got a bunch of ENT action figures, the bridge set and phase pistol set - all of which are out and displayed, not pristine. I've also got a couple of scripts, one of which is autographed, and a couple of baseball caps that I use from time to time.

In my office at work I've got a glass with Scotty on it that I use on a regular basis and an artist's print of Star Trek inspired "vintage" advertising. At home I've got an Enterprise bottle opener that I used just last night. There's other stuff too, but my favorite is a medallion with a scene of a breaching whale from Star Trek IV on the front and a dedication to the Challenger astronauts on the back. That one is still with the collector's box.

How about you?

EntAllat, I don't have cool props like you do, but I do have my office decorated with Star Trek "stuff".

As you can see, I also have Gort from The Day The Earth Stood Still and a Firefly :D

I love my shadow box of Star Trek patches!

And a last confession...I have a 'I Heart Trip' mug and mouse pad

I'm starting to collect the little cloisonne pins but I don't have anything near the awesomeness of bluetiger's collection!

Thanks, guys. I have gathered many odds and ends over the years, like rubber Spock ears, a TOS communicator toy, and I even found one of the three dimensional chess boards at a flea market for seventy-five cents :laugh (it's a sickness).

EntAllat, my Gort was a birthday gift but I know that it came from Amazon.com, they have a really big one that I would love to have. The Day The Earth Stood Still is a special movie to me. I remember watching it as a child and Gort scaring the heck out of me, but that movie began my love affair with science fiction. You always remember your first
