The Linda Park thread!

Postby Aquarius » Wed Nov 30, 2011 12:43 am

Okay, this was too long in coming, I admit.

I confess the reason I finally started this thread is because I've seen an impostor/fan account for her on Twitter, and I've seen fans tweeting at it along with @ConnorTrinneer and @JoleneBlalock -- both of which are genuine -- so I'm not sure the people addressing @LindaPark82 know it's not really her. Even though there's stuff in the profile/description that would make me doubtful.

Here's the Twitter page for the account in question, if anyone's curious. But I'm thinking, no way that's her. Especially following that many people.

Anyone have evidence to the contrary?

Nope, I've heard/seen nothing to the contrary. I think your instinct is correct and it's not really her. Grrr, I hate it when people do that.

Still, someone should ask her if they see her at a play or convention. Speaking of, I'll go ahead and repost a couple of the Linda Park related news items here:

Most recent:
EntAllat wrote:After a month of so of no news in my inbox, suddenly I'm getting a lot of Google alerts. Latest one is a review of the play All My Sons, that Linda Park was in. It's got a nice pic of the cast too, and Linda's up there in the back row. There's another pic further down with Linda in it more front and center. She looks gorgeous!!

And this was the play:

A multi-ethnic production sheds new light on Arthur Miller's powerful All My Sons, with previews beginning October 13 and the opening set for October 22 at the Matrix Theatre.

Miller's gripping tale of corporate greed versus social responsibility remains as electrifying today as when first presented in 1947, but producer Joseph Stern and director Cameron Watson have upped the ante, presenting this non-traditionally cast version as the third play in a trilogy examining race in America through the lens of different playwrights.

Linda plays Ann Deever.

She guest starred in an episode of House in May - she plays "Dr. Lee" in the episode entitled "The Fix" - and she was in another play mid-May to June, Love in American Times: "a new play that gives the old tradition of matchmaking a contemporary twist": Linda Park and J. Michael Flynn to Star in World Premiere of Gotanda's Love in American Times

I had a quick look, and it seems more politically based that anything that I would expect from an actress (not that there's anything wrong with having political views, it's just I would expect that, if it is Linda, that she'd twitter about her acting gigs as well.) I'm wondering if there is a way to contact her manager to let them know that someone may be impersonating her?

Looks like Linda Park now truly IS on Twitter. Her account: @realLindaPark. She says she "wrapped work on her first stint as a producer".

She's also on instagram. There's great phtotos here, here, here and here.

Mr. Smith! It looks like the lovely Linda Park is also a foodie. Check out her blog for some of her recipes.

Linda was on the new episode of NCIS that aired this past Tuesday. Not a big part, but she was in a couple of scenes. She played a Naval lawyer assigned to a military suspect.
Old enough to know better, but that's never stopped me before.

Keep your fingers crossed for Linda! She posts a lot of pics to Twitter of stuff she's cooked and great produce out of her garden -- someone suggested she should have a cooking show and she said "stay tuned, it's in the works".

Also, she's apparently got a new tattoo.
