What really minor details did you like about the show or about a particular episode?

I'll start with one of my favorites: When Jon goes to T'Pol's quarters in the middle of the night at the end of "Shockwave Part II," there's an open book next to her pillow. It seems T'Pol fell asleep reading. I've been known to do that myself - a lot. I just get a kick out of the fact that my favorite Vulcan reads in bed, she appreciates "real" books (not just PADDS), and she even falls asleep reading.

Another of my favorites is how Trip's interest in photography is very subtly shown in a few different episodes. He's the one with the camera in "Strange New World," he loads pictures onto a PADD for Travis's family to see, and he's the one who's chosen to take the portrait of Jon (I forget which episode).

One of the little things that i liked was the way Trip always spoke so warmly of his family.

TUCKER: Grandma taught me never to judge a species by their eating habits. (Broken Bow)

TUCKER: I remember the first dance I ever went to. Bayshore Elementary Panama City, Florida. A girl I had a crush on, Melissa Lyles, was going to be there. So I spent weeks practicing the two-step with my brother. (Fusion)

TUCKER: I was riding right alongside Hopalong Cassidy chasing some bad guys. Then I was with Lisa again, except this time we were snow sailing in New Zealand. Then I was eight years old, maybe nine, picking up leaves with my dad. (The Crossing)

TUCKER: My baby sister. When we were in school I made sure all the boys in her class got a good look at me. None of them ever messed with her. (The Expanse)

There were more and most were throw-away lines, but it gave you this overall feeling of what a great family man he was.

Strange New World: Even though it's very early in the mission, I love how comfortable everyone is together (well, maybe not T'Pol), particularly during the camping scenes. And also, the reference to the Omega Training Mission is a really wonderful glimpse into Archer and Trip's past.

Unexpected: The scene on the Xyrillian ship when Trip wakes up. I like that Archer sent them a recording of ocean waves to help Trip relax.

Desert Crossing: 1. When Archer asks Trip what he wants for his special dinner and he says, 'no snake meat'. If you listen carefully, Archer says 'doesn't' the exact same way Trip does (I'm not sure if it was intentional or not). I think it's funny, for some reason.

2. I love the way Archer is protective of Trip, even using himself as a shield when the Shuttlepod arrives.

The Seventh: During the Mess Hall scene, Trip is doing an absolutely dead-on impression of Archer, right down to the facial expressions.

To name but a few. ;)

Terra Prime: During their descent onto Mars, you can see Phlox silently pass Malcolm a bag. Shortly afterward, you see Malcolm pass it back to Phlox. Also, there's the Carl Sagan Memorial Station, which is really freaking awesome.

Familial gestures, reinforcing the fact this crew was seamless in being in tune with each other ( and I think the actors have a great deal to do with that, being a very talented cast all around!)

Broken Bow: Travis sharing the Sweet Spot with Trip.

Strange New World: Trip and Archer teasing Travis being a Boomer, in a big brother way.

The Andorian Incident: Phlox eating salad off of T'Pol's plate....heheheeee!
T'Pol brushing off and straightening the jackets of Archer and Trip before visiting P'Jem.

Civilization: Trip gesturing to T'Pol to pull her hair over her ear, and their expressions in the exchange.

Dear Doctor: Phlox and Hoshi establishing a tutor/teacher relationship.

Sleeping Dogs: Reed teaching Hoshi to shoot firearms.
Malcolm and Hoshi silently telling T 'Pol to request more time in detox chamber.

Fusion: Archer fighting Tolaris for hurting T'Pol, then checking on her later to make sure she is better.

Rogue Planet: Hoshi teasing Trip about bore worms and Malcolm finding it funny.

Vox Sola: T'Pol and Hoshi brushing Jon's and Trip's hair after being released from the creature.

And that is just season 1!!!
TRIP: Hold on. You never said anything about feet.
T'POL: Is that a problem?
TRIP: Well, for one thing, I haven't had a shower since this morning, and I know how sensitive that Vulcan nose of your can be.And I'm a little ticklish.Maybe more than a little.

I'm not sure this is a "little thing" but one thing that keeps me coming back to the show is the scoring. Sometimes I actually wish the dialogue would stop just for a second so that I can listen to the music. Sure, it's the dialogue and action that tell the story -- and we wouldn't have a show without them -- but sometimes it's the mood that reaches out and grabs me.
Bridge looks a lot different from here. Think anyone would mind if I fired a torpedo? -Travis Mayweather, "Cold Front"

You are so right about the music, lfvoy. Especially the score from Similitude. That particular music won an award I believe.

Quoted for truth. :bolian

And Archer was quite affectionate with his crew, giving them shoulder pats, arm squeezes, etc. :hearteyes

Similitude, Desert Crossing and Regeneration all had terrific music.
