Is this what you meant, Reanok? There's not much there that I recognize for sure as the Star Trek I know/am interested in. :(

Edited to add: If it is, then here's the link for the post from the programmer with the link to refresh the output.

Yes Glory that's the book discussion poll i mentioned thanks for posting it here.Glory since you like TOS standalone novels you might like the new McCoy novel A Choice of catastrophes by Micheal Shuster&Steve Mollman This novel with McCoy has space exploration, mystery great moments for the main characters and other Enterprise crewmembers play in important role in getting the ship out of dangerous space rifts tied to the mysterious planet and crewmembers falling into comas for unknown reasons. During an emergency crisis on an alien planet 2 different away teams one with Kirk and crew exploring one part of the planet and Spock and Scotty find a mystery and get in over their heads of what happened to the aliens who lived on the planet an why did they disappear. You also might like the Tos standalone novels Children of Kings by Dave Stern or Cast No shadow by James Swallow. There's 2 new Tos standalone novels coming out in January and Febriuary Ring of Time by greg Cox and That which Divided Kirk versus the Romulans. The synopsis mentions s Colony planet in crisis an arficaial space rift created by powerful alien technology. The Romulans want to cause trouble for Kirk&crew plus the endangered colony planet. The Romulans want the alien technology for themselves to use against the and againstthe planet and Enterprise..

Here is the positive points list for the Save Profic campaign. Do you still want me to go negative? Or is this not what you had in mind at all?

Star Trek fans are a diverse lot:
Some like anything with the Star Trek name on it (TV shows, movies, spin-offs, reboots, books, games, etc.).
Some like mainly what they’ve seen on screen (not surprising when you consider how much Star Trek fans appreciate the actors)
Some like one or only a few of the components of the franchise.
The upside is that that allows for many niches that attract many people. The downside is that, as in clothing, one size never really fits all.

There is a desire for books covering all the major components of the franchise (TOS, TNG, DS9, VOY, ENT, TOS 2009 and spin-offs).

There is a desire for more promotion of the Star Trek line. Customers want to know when (or even if) they can expect product in which they are interested. Customers appreciate being dealt with honestly. No information, vague information and/or outright misinformation leads to a plethora of possibly damaging rumors and overall bad feelings that can be avoided with good, accurate and timely communication.

There is an interest in stories that take place during the component series itself or at least includes all of the crew as it was constituted then. Fans are loyal to the characters and generally do not like to see them killed off. That is an entirely different scenario from seeing them grow and change.

There is an interest in short story anthologies for the various components or based on a particular theme across components.

There is a desire for a greater variety of authors. More authors would provide a greater number of view points on favorite characters. More authors would provide a better mix of those who do character development well with those who do action/battle scenes well with those who do political themes well with those who do mystery plots well, etc.

There is an interest in character-driven books. For ENT, for example, books covering Reed’s time with Section 31, T’Pol’s time with the Vulcan Security Service or more of Shran’s history might be appreciated.

There is an interest in getting back to the hopeful, forward-looking feel that Gene Roddenberry made the basis of Star Trek.

There is a desire to get back to exploring new worlds and alien cultures.

There is a desire for more stand-alone books. While multivolume series have their place, particularly when covering a time period of many years, stand-alones provide easier access for the newer fan.

There is a desire for a steady, reliable provision of product. It is understandable that there is a fine line between providing enough and providing so much that it becomes overwhelming to the dedicated reader/collector.

Oh, definitely! May I add: perhaps a pre-series novel exploring Archer and Trip's friendship, their time with the Warp 5 program, the Omega training mission, etc.

For TOS, more books featuring Captains April and/or Pike would be nice.

No, this is fine. You were very thorough, so this is even more than what I had in mind. :) (I was just thinking of a quick bullet point grocery list.) And you even dug out some stuff from the past discussion I'd forgotten about. Thanks!

If there's anything else you think should be added, go ahead. This is more for us to work from than it is for sending to the publishers etc. - yet, at least.

Well, my lone tweet isn't going to do much if others don't likewise expresses their displeasure somehow.
