I love this episode. I can forgive the consequences not being severe enough because of all the rest of the awesomeness.
Keith Carradine is just perfect in the role of AG. Sometimes it's fun to mentally recast shows or movies, but in this instance, I can't think of anyone else I'd want. The character was well-written, too. I could've easily placed him in something like Top Gun or The Right Stuff and he still would've rang true. And they did a good job of endearing him to the audience, so his death was just as painful to us as it was Jon by the end of the episode. You want to see this awesome character come back again, and you know he can't.
T'Pol...being cool, being a damn good friend, under the pretense of regulations and logic. She rules my world in this ep. She demonstrates just how much she's learned about humans, and in some cases, she seems to know them better than they know themselves because she still has her objectivity. She's learned how to give the right thing at the right time.
This episode is so rich with possibilities. It was a fun one to base a fic on. I enjoyed writing "Beer, Broads, and Brotherhood" because of the dynamic between Trip, Archer, and AG.
Honestly...I can't really say anything bad about this episode.
