I'm knocking around different stories that I want to nominate for The Expanse Awards, TnT and otherwise.

I'm still knocking around ideas, but I'm definitely nominating "The Answering Machine" for best appearance by an inanimate object for Aquarius's story "The Drunk Dial".

I think Bluetiger needs to submit her "Funhouse Mirror" stories so I can nominate them for the humor category.

And, I am going to suggest Unexpected Too! as a nominee for best TnT story over 2000 words!

Ladyrainbow finished her history fic, which pretty much gives equal weight to R/S and TnT - so it's definitely worth considering for best TnT over 2000 words:

And if you're a TnT-er who hasn't yet read it, I say go for it!

She did an outstanding job transporting them to different lives but keeping their essence.

Hey TnTers! I just want to stop by and put a blowtorch under your asses for a minute and tell you to get your noms in for the Expanse Awards! I'm told not many people have nominated yet, so the sooner you get your noms in, the better!

Remember, you can nominate more than one story for a single category, so there is no need to hold out to see what else gets published between now and then. If you want to nominate a story that gets published after you've already nominated one for a category, that's okay--send it in, too!

What I recommend: PMing one or two in every day. That way, you're not rushing around trying to get a big ol' list in at the last minute, and the awards committee doesn't have to stay up until 5am compiling all the last-minute nominations so they can be ready for voting the next day.

Also--and this is important--nominations have to be PMd to the Expanse Awards account in order to count. Lobbying for them here or in the Expanse Awards account is not an official nomination! So if you've lobbied but not PM'd, why not take a couple minutes right now and send those suggestions in as nominations? It won't take long, I promise!

Don't forget to include the author's name and the story's url! This goes for nominations and lobbying!
