the delphic expanse

I was just posting how much I don't like Phillipa Gregory (for so many reasons) but when they found Richard III's bones I picked up Sharon Kay Penman's "The Sunne in Splendor" - where Richard III is the hero. She sticks to history really well but imagines the characters, including Edward, Edmund, Anne and especially Richard really, really well.

Anyone read this?
