So, I'm going to kick off this thread for "thank you" speeches.
My drabble Oops! won best TnT drabble, and I want to thank all the people who nominated and voted for it! I'm glad to see that one of the earliest drabbles written on this site is still a favorite!

OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG.
Yeah, that's my speech.
Also, I find it kind of amusing that I can barely remember actually writing "Rite of Remembrance." I wrote it just over a week after my own father died, and the act of writing it really helped.

I'm speechless.
Thank you so much for the nominations! And for the wins that "Requited" and "Connubial Negotiations" had. I'm so...
*dies from blushing*

Uh....
Anyone who knows me IRL knows I'm better at writing than at giving speeches.

to everyone who nominated my fics, and especially for "Star-Crossed Lovers and Fighters." I'm very proud of that story and thanks to everyone who read it and voted.
And

to everyone who were nominated! You all have great writing and art talent!

Thanks so much for the nominations, and for your enjoyment of "Curves".
I'm trying to remember the circumstances around writing it, but aside from it being a response to a birthday request, all I recall is that it was a lot of fun to write.

Wow! "The Narrow Path" really won for best Archer/T'Pol over 2000 words? I'm both amazed and humbled. I really didn't think it would win because it was AU. I'm so glad I wrote it and so many people enjoyed it!
And to think it was a prequel to my history challenge story, and at one point I wasn't even going to write it. Whoever suggested I write it deserves some kudos too.

As the person who came up with the history challenge - I was incredibly pleased to see how many of those fics were nominated (I count the Narrow Path, since it was a prequel). I thought that I would be the only one loving that scenario, and then people really came through. Still, to see how much support the stories got in the nominations and voting was really cool. Both of you (Ladyrainbow and Kathy Rose) did magnificent jobs making the characters authentic to who we know them to be but within the new universe. Totally cool.

I wanted to say thank you to those of you who nominated my stories. I'm particularly proud of a couple of those pieces, and it's gratifying to know that they meant something to some of you, too.
Mostly, though, I wanted to thank everyone here at the Expanse -- authors, artists, members -- for coming here, participating, and making all of this possible. A year ago as Honeybee and I talked about opening our own site, we didn't know if there'd be any interest, so thanks for believing in what we wanted to do.

Thanks for the vote of encouragement for String Theory. Funny how that one just tumbled out over a period of a couple of days, when so much of my writing is like pulling teeth lately.
But a year ago I wasn't really able to write much of anything, so I'm humbled and grateful.
