SUGGESTION: Depending on the length, if you are not going to have your fic completed within the next FIVE TO SEVEN days, my advice is to hold off on archiving it until AUGUST 1, 2011 or after. The idea here is, you don't want to miss out on a nomination because your story came in at the last minute and people didn't have time to read it. It's better to wait a few days and be considered for next year's awards than to have everyone disappointed because they might've overlooked a gem.
Also, now's the time to turn up the heat on your lobbying!! People are short on time and deciding what to read--you want it to be YOUR favorite, don't you???
