I hope Aquarius and Honeybee don't mind this post...but I figure this topic string might be a good depository for alternative rewatch information. Some people are unable to meet the official rewatch for various reasons. So...If you are going to rewatch with more than one person using an open chat system (e.g. tinychat) to keep in contact and you don't mind other participants, please post your time and how to participate here. That way, others will be able to join in if they so choose.

As I've stated before I'd be able to make weekend watches ie friday and saturday as I don't have early starts

If I may make an observation--

Part of the problem I see with the alternate rewatches is that plenty of people are open to doing them, but nobody steps up and says "Okay, lets do it on this day at this time. Does that work for everyone?" and then take responsibility for opening the chat room a few minutes before the appointed time. It seems like everybody is waiting for somebody else to make a decision.

Do you need us to put an admin or a moderator on it in order to help make sure it happens?

That's a good idea. The problem is that Aquarius and myself schedule the rewatches for when is good for us, so we can moderate them. We've got no problem with other people stepping up to hold alternative watches in the chat room but it stands to reason that someone else, with a schedule different from ours, should step up and do it!

Are people looking more to have a definitive alternate rewatch time per week (for example, regular rewatch generally happens on a weekday so alternative could happen on a weekend) or would they rather it be a day and time that's decided upon week to week? I'm generally off nights and weekends and may be able to step up if people are looking for a definitive alternate rewatch time.

If you want to step, that would be terrific. We're doing a weekend time this week - but maybe starting next week, you can work with people to find a weekend time?

That's awesome, creek_chub. Thanks so much for taking the initiative. If we have two, people can pick the one that works best for them.

Ok, I'm proposing that the alternate rewatch will be next Saturday, August 13 at 8pm EDT. If anyone has major objections, let me know and we'll work things out from there.

That's cool. Thanks creek_chub. I'll probably try to make both but if only can make one...at least I have a chance to see a rewatch with my fluctuating schedule.
