Series Rewatch Schedule and Information
Yay for Rewatch Par-tay! Join your fellow Enterprisers for a weekly ongoing discussion of each episode of our favorite Trek!
Beginning February 1, 2011, a thread will be posted here in "2011 Series Rewatch Party!" for the week's episode for squee, critique, gushing, griping, and all-around fangrrrrl/boi-ing. Watch the show with fresh eyes, or look back on it from the end of a full four-year run -- after ten long years,
don't be surprised if you discover something you never noticed before. (Or forgot about, for those of us with CRS
)
In keeping with the spirit here in The Delphic Expanse, please consider the tone of any discussion... one fan's poison can be another fan's meat, and we're here to celebrate the flailings and foibles of this, the fifth Trek series. Plus, you know... the eye candy.
Added 2/10/11: I'm also including writer and director information in each discussion thread, because I think it will be interesting to note how various episodes affected the overall run of the show and its consistency, as well as who was responsible for what.
Added 3/1/11: I will be including teleplay writer info also. Concept can be different from execution -- let's compare! (Will update a few of the episodes we've already seen and note it on the list below.)
Here's the tentative schedule for Season 1:
SEASON TWO
Dates are "week of", sometime in which the discussion threads for the episode will be opened, not specific date we're having the live chats.
NOTE: list numbers do not match episode numbers, because of Broken Bow being 1 ep with 2 parts.
If any of these coincide with long holidays/exam weeks/Very Large Conventions/etc. let me know. Nothing is set in stone and we want to accommodate as many folks as want to take part. Discussion threads will remain open so the conversation can be ongoing. The dates above only indicate when the next episode thread will be posted.
Live chat has been suggested for those who may want to set up a date/time -- that would be very cool. This thread will be updated with any regular session information.
For those who don't have access to the episodes at home (and unfortunately, for now, those who are also within the US
), there are several online sources that post the episodes with the full legal blessings of Star Trek's current owner, CBS. Some sites work better than others, so if you don't like one, try another.

Seeing that all the access has been yanked behind paywalls more than likely, I openly suggest YouTube. For video things. 'Cause video things are there, so YouTube is a great site for video things.
Have fun!
