Shameless (US)

I didn't realize there wasn't a Shameless thread here until now.

After catching up on the last three episodes, I'm ecstatic. I'm well aware that my favorite character, Mickey, can't be happy all of the time, but he can at least have a happy sometime. Now, if only they'd make him less of an ass in his other storyline. In a small way, I can understand why he is but still. I find it a sweet/sad situation that Svetlana's best ally is Ian.

Fiona's storyline has become completely depressing instead of the usual mostly depressing. I'm conflicted about it because what she did I thought was unforgivable until witnessing all of the things she's gone through since as well as knowing how her punishments will effect all the others.

The other storylines have their cringe and laugh moments which is typical Shameless. I know it can be shocking and a little over the top for some.

Now that I've babbled on, anyone else watch the show?

Okay, so I'm not the only one who has all the feels for this ship

Awwww ...that looks really intriguing. I've heard great things about Shameless. Maybe I'll catch up this summer.

That video on the linked page of Mickey/Ian made me cry during the original airing because it was so raw, and the backstory of how they got to that scene made it that much more.

If you're okay with explicit sex and violent scenes, some over the top storylines for laughs, with a lot of offensive visuals and dialogue (but they aim to offend everyone), then I highly recommend it! it's managed heart-breaking, cringe-worthy, and outlandishly funny all in single episodes.

What I love most about it is that each character is a mess, but a lovable mess. I do vaguely remember the first episode being a bit rough around the edges though.
