Anybody fans of this one out there? I love all the incarnations: SG1, Atlantis (I've got a ENT cross over fic in the works for this one) and SGU. SGU's new season starts on the 28th!

Me! Mostly SGA. I've seen some SGU, but I haven't been keeping up w/it.

Wrote a couple of SGA fics, one for SGA Big Bang 2009.

SG1 was great but I was not happy when they refused to bring Jack and Sam together officially. I was okay with the Daniel/Vala pairing and wished they didn't leave out the little background info of why she was crying in the last ep.

SGA, McKay's my favorite character but I LOVE Ronan :smitten

SGU, what I like most is the darker tone as you think it would be when flung across the universe. What I dislike most... Chloe. Was very disappointed that they didn't kill off her character toward the end of the last season.

I have to confess I much prefer the darker SGU. I found SG1 to be okay...some of the eps were really good, but overall it simply failed to inspire me the way Trek does. And SGA...cool if it's your thing, but I had such a hard time getting into it I've only seen a handful of episodes, and the only ones I found to be exceptional were the ones Connor appeared in.

I like the original Stargate and and SgA I'm not of fan of SGU.Connor role of Micheal got me to start watching Atlantis. One of my favorite Stargate shows was the one where John Billingley plays a nerdy sceientist the startrek jokes in that show are really funny. :lol:

So, in SGU...

Eli finally got a girlfriend and they killed her. WTF! They couldn't have found an unknown scientist to sacrifice? And Rush's girlfriend too? That relationship gave more layers to his character than any other ep, IMO

SGU has been canceled, and there's been a big uproar on Twitter.

Honestly--how can they keep wrestling on this channel, but cancel quality programming that actually pertains to science fiction? :roll:
