Gul Dukat!!

It was 'Sacrifice of Angels', in case you need a reminder, it's the episode where Sisko retakes DS9 and Damar fatally shoots Ziyal, Dukat's half Bajoran daughter.
It was the scene in the end where Dukat's in the cell talking to his dead daughter... it really got to me :(

Even though he was a bigoted, despotic, tyrant, I felt for him.

I honestly think he is the one character I feel most conflicted about because I really want to hate him because of the atrocities he has committed and will commit but part of me feels pity for him. I think it is a mark of what a great actor Marc Alaimo is.

And a mark of good writing as well, because without the writers the director couldn't give actors direction.

I love Gul Dukat. He is such a complex figure, a person with a dark past, a tyrant, that loves his daughter. I still remember Gul Dukat and his daughter, even when I haven't watch DS9 in a very long time. Only shows what a great story line this was.

YY agree about the script writing as well. Generally, I think the last three seasons of DS9 were very well scripted.
