Inspired by the favorite trek characters thread - in all of trek, who are your favorite one-shot characters?

Mestral from ENT is a great one. As is T'Mir.

The Romulan Commander from TOS.

Admiral Jarok from TNG.

EMH 2 from Voyager.

Lal from TNG.

Rachel Garret from TNG. (Or as I like to call her, proto Janeway)

Ent: Mestral, D'Maar (sp.?), Kov, V'Lar, Graylik.

TOS: Does Khan count?

TNG: Klag (mostly because of KRAD's novels).

That's all I can think of for now.

TOS: Honeybee, if you mean the female Romulan Commander in "The Enterprise Incident" then I'm right there with you. Did she really not have a name? I could have sworn she said it at some point. I just remember feeling like she was so different from the other women on the show.

ST '09: Gaila (she was as an anti Uhura)

TNG: Kamala

DS9: Weyoun 6

Voy: Charlene, Belle, and Jeffrey (after B'lanna got a hold of them)

Ent: Mirror Archer, Mirror Tucker, elderly T'Pol

Yes, I mean the female Romulan commander. I'm not sure the episode gives her a name, but she probably has been given one elsewhere. You know, she was conceived as a critique of the unnatural habit of the Romulans (aka The Russians) of putting women in charge. The audience was supposed to hate her, as far as the network was concerned. But I think the actors recognized that there was something awesome about her.

I don't think she was given a name on the show, but didn't she whisper it in Spock's ear?

I'd have to agree -- she's my favorite one-shot character from TOS.

I've seen her name given as Liviana Charvanek in several of the books (by several different authors), but that's fanonical at best. As I recall, she whispered it in Spock's ear but we never got to hear it.

So let's see.

TOS - Edith Keeler, hands down

TNG - one of the very earliest fan fics I wrote was about Sarjenka. I'd love to have seen her come back.

DS9 - I so very much wanted more of Ghemor, and he does come back in the books.

VOY - my favorite super-minor character was Mezoti. But she was in more than one episode, so if I have to be strict, I'd say Tessa (Chakotay's companion in "Timeless"). That's another huge missed opportunity IMNSHO.

ENT - kill me if you want, but my favorite oneshot was Raijin. There was SO MUCH MORE that could have been done with her, and I think she was a lot more nuanced than it looked on the surface.
