Except if you're in Hawaii. Or Arizona. Which, except if you're in the Navajo Nation in Arizona.

It used to be later here, too, Destinye, but then we had to save more oil or something (not that it does). So, yeah, older VHS/DVD machines can't handle it and Windows computers have to get a patch from Microsoft.

Does England still have British Double Summer Time or was that only during World War II?

I would happily vote someone in as president if they promised to rid us of this. Pick a time and stick to it. I'm getting too old to be doing this... it'll take me a week to get over it. BAH humbug.

 You could just move to Arizona. They don't observe daylight savings. ;)

Unfortunately, we're moving to Colorado in a few weeks so back to the old "what time is it when?" life. :rasberry:

What I find confusing is that Newfoundland is a half hour off. Not a whole hour. It has to do its own little 30 minute thing .

Not that I live there. I'm not affected by it except for when I listen to CBC radio and the DJ has to give the times certain programs start twice, one of which is for the folks of Newfoundland.

But, it's just one of those things that make you go "hmmmmmmmmmmmm...." :crazy

Believe me, we've talked about it!

I understand about the time thing and moving. For me it was always "what area code am I in?". I still can't recite my phone number without the area code of where I am. People look at me funny!

We're a military family, and so most of our friends (new and old) just keep their cell phones as they move from post to post. Area code is vital when we're swapping numbers.
