Need Hugs and Support

For those who don't know, I have rheumatoid arthritis and fibromyalgia. I found out I had RA in 2006, after the birth of my older daughter.

Today I had an appt. at the rheumatologist. Unfortunately, my labs show a downward trend. My inflammation marker (which measure how bad my joints are swollen) is WAY up, and they've upped my meds. It usually means I'm even more loopier than usual when I'm on them.

If this keeps up, I may have to go back to getting additional (and expensive) meds via infusion.

Man, I'm bummed.

Ugh! I'm so sorry, Lady Rainbow! I wish we had a hugs emoticon - but I'll just say :hugs:

I'll also say good for you for taking care of yourself. Medicinal regimens are no fun - but they are sometimes necessary. I'm glad you're doing the right thing!

Sorry to hear that, ladyrainbow. I know someone with fibromyalgia, and I worked in theater with someone who had rheumatoid arthritis. I can't imagine what it must be like to have to deal with both. Good luck on your med regimen.
