Malcolm would love this holiday, but not as much as me. I love the cold weather and the bonfires and making toast and roasted marshmallows over the flames. Spending it with friends and trudging through the mud and breathing out plumes of smoke. Sparklers and cold water and boom, rockets that shoot up and spray sparkles into the night.

Nothing like it in the world.

I'm done being poetic now, promise. One year I'll get to spend it blowing stuff up with my wife, one year, but last year we were too broke and this year she's gone. One year, though, mark my words.

I have one... not Guy Fawkes or 4th of July, but... I've tried to find it before, I can't remember where it went!

Well, if I was ever going to be in the mood to finish it, it would be now, but I'm not sure I remember where it is. Ah, I can just write another one, maybe with a little Archer/Reed action... something to do when the enthusiasm for my NaNo novel subsides.
