Delphic Expanse, Inked

This thread was inspired by the "Would Trip get a tattoo?" thread. The subject of members' own ink came up, so we can discuss it here!

I have a vividly-colored ankh on the left side of my cleavage.

As for piercings, at the moment I just have a bazillion in my ears and one in my nose. I've had other things pierced in the past but those came out long ago.

I have a cross on my inner right ankle. I want more, but the budget doesn't allow for such luxuries right now. I have up to 3 more that I want. I can post links to pics if anyone's interested. :D

Oops! I just posted what I have in the other thread (small butterfly, left hip). I used to have my belly button pierced, but I took it out when I got pregnant and now I can't get it back in.

For some reason, Aquarius, I always picture you looking like your avatar. I don't do that with anyone else, but I always picture you as MU T'Pol.

If only! Time and lifestyle haven't been that kind. But I have decided that if I get my diet and exercise sitch under control. I'm asking the doctor for Jolene's butt and boobs when we do the damage control. 8)

Right now, I have four tattoos. All but one are friendship tattoos; I have a misspelled version of love on my left inner elbow, an old typo turned inside joke with a friend, a heart design on my right inner elbow, which was a symbol created and shared by two of my friends from my only other significant fandom.

Behind my right ear I have the word "Valentine", because this is the name I have long attributed to my writing muse, and behind my left I have a pattern designed my one of my very dearest friends from school. She always drew typical swirly tattoo designs everywhere, and she happened to draw one under the note she wrote in my leavers book, so on a vacation I took in 2007 to Virginia, where I met up with some other friends from the aforementioned fandom, I got it tattooed to remind me of her and the trip.

As for piercings, up until very recently I had nine, now I have eight, a conch and a lobe in my right ear, and three lobes in my left, plus three facial piercings; a septum and two on the left side of my lip. The septum was by far the most painful.

Awesome!

My next tat is either going to be an IDIC or a stylized Starfleet emblem. Top of my foot, maybe. Everyone says back of my shoulder but I don't want to put anything where *I* can't see it!

And then there are the fantasies about turning Connor Trinneer's autograph into a tramp stamp. :damnfunny Wouldn't actually do it, but damn it's fun to think about!

I actually had a conversation with him about tattoos, I always planned to get Shuttlepod One as part of my science fiction sleeve, and I contemplated briefly getting Keating and Trinneer signatures to accompany it. :D

I've always thought IDIC would be a great tattoo. I've heard the top of the foot is a real painful area, but ink there looks really good, so I hope you can get it done.

My husband has strong objections to any tattoes, so I will probably not ever get one. IF I did, it would definitely be Enterprise-related. This show and this fandom has changed my life powerfully. *ponders*

I'm also internet-friends with someone who has been featured in one or two of the Trek videos. She has the NX-01 patch on one shoulder, and the MU symbol on the other.

I have one my upper right arm. A colorful parrot fighting a snake (it was cool at the time). My next one could be the NX-01 .... or maybe T'Pol!
