Nearly a century… what a lot she must have seen. My condolences for your loss, but it warms my heart to hear that she was in her grandmother's bed, and that you got to be with her.

I wish Nichelle Nichols all the best. It was really upsetting to read in on Startrek .com she suffered a mild stroke and is having therapy right now.

Ditto! I'm glad to hear she's still with us and recovering now.

About a year ago I moved to an even more remote rural area than the one I had been living in previously and I have been without reliable internet service ever since. The tv I do get doesn't have any Enterprise reruns on and I don't own any of the dvds. I really have been craving a fix of my favorite crew. Sigh. It's not the end of the world by any stretch of the imagination, in fact, I see more of my teens now that they can't easily surf the web. But it would be nice to rewatch Enterprise and maybe get some inspiration to write again. I feel like I'm drying up, I haven't written in so long. Maybe I'll ask Santa for Season One for Christmas. :bluexmas

DVDs for Christmas sound like a great idea. In theory, I should be able to get Enterprise as streaming video from Amazon, but I haven't been able to make it work correctly.

I hope something comes along to give you inspiration before Santa comes.
