Interesting article on the use of Passives.

The Passive in English

This seems to be my self-nitpicky item du jour lately, ie, I'm writing and suddenly become completely and utterly/overly aware of passive/active in everything I'm doing... which I learned incorrectly, apparently. (And I just rewrote that last clause three times in honor of this information, LOL!)

Good to know that all passives are not equally unequal -- and it's okay to use them!
