Since I'm not writing anymore, I have a Porthos fic up for adoption. Some time ago, Sita Z wrote a charming story about Malcolm sneaking a little male calico cat (whom he named "Stinky") off a space station and aboard Enterprise. I loved it and asked her permission to write a story where Porthos meets Stinky. She was kind enough to allow it and was pleased with the result. We talked about doing a fic together and had picked out cat names for the crew and had a general idea for a plot, but real life intervened and we never got around to actually writing the story. I finally started it myself and have 4 chapters done (2000-4000 words per chapter range). I've started the 5th chapter and could provide an outline of what I had planned. Of course, if you adopt it, then you can change/use whatever you see fit. I wouldn't consider the story "mine" anymore. I work in Microsoft Works because it came with the computer, but it can save to .txt or .doc (and a few others). If you do take it up, please remember to credit Sita Z as the originator of Stinky (just a reminder because I know ya'll know that to do that is only right).

Working title is The New Adventures of the Disaster Duo. Summary: No, not THOSE two. Stinky is back and he's bored! Porthos tries to help with that. Things go downhill from there.

I suspect this isn't the classy type of Enterprise fic desired for the archive, but there is a small group of people at ff.net that do seem to enjoy Porthos fic (with or without Stinky, although Stinky has fans, too) and will leave reviews so it wouldn't be a total waste of your time if you're in the mood to let your inner pet lover out.
