And a little explanation of the MU selections is in order. These all show the un-pretty side of love and sex to varying degrees. Some contain explicit material -- I've tried to remember to warn you where applicable. These all lend themselves to dysfunctional relationships, love gone wrong, loss, adult themes, or any combination thereof. If you choose an MU option, you do not have to set it in the MU. We just call it that because this is kind of the "underbelly" of love. Likewise, if you select from the "RU" list, you don't have to set your story in the RU, either!

Oh, and I ought to explain the drawing: twelve people signed up, but instead of adding two more songs to each list, I threw the numbers back into the bowl when I ran out and kept drawing. Still random, and the duplication of a couple of songs isn't going to mean duplicate stories.

I've already got an idea for mine - and into the MU I go!

So, I checked out my RU song, and had an immediate idea. Then, for the heck of it, since I'd never heard the corresponding number MU song, I listened to that, and really liked it. Now I have to decide which one to do ... or maybe both? Decisions, decisions.

I already have an idea, and dialogue forming in my head. I can't wait to be done with on-call this week so I can start!

And here I was all set to write to my RU song when I decided that I should listen to the MU song at least once.

Oh, darn you, Aquarius. Because now I have Kathy's problem: my brain produced ideas for both of them.

Decisions, decisions indeed....

Here's a suggestion, reflective of my (and, I'm sure, your readers') self-serving motives:
