I'm writing in another fandom now, so I'd like to see these: ;)

Trip Tucker shouldn't have messed about with the Zyrillian holodeck.
The Consulting Detective from the past could shut T'Pol down.
Phlox's appearance was disconcerting, but Watson got on with him.
Malcolm praised John Watson, "Not bad shooting for a doctor."
Somebody (Malcolm!) needed to keep Sherlock Holmes out of Engineering.
Sherlock's violin and Malcolm's viola sounded wonderful together to Hoshi.
Holmes suspected that Daniels was really one of Moriarty's minions.
Somehow, Holmes knew all about, Reed, Harris and the Section.
Would Trip have gotten to first base with Irene Adler?
Holmes and Watson were given cabin 221 on B deck.

Might as well add more while I'm thinking about them:

Sherlock: The Vulcan . . .
John: Her name is T'Pol.
Sherlock: She admires my mind.

Trip: Talk about subtext, John, everybody thinks that I'm doing T'Pol.
John: Well, everyone thinks I'm shagging Sherlock. I can't imagine why.
I'm not gay. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
Trip: You and Sherlock? Nah, no more than me and Malcolm.

John: Pissing off the captain is a bit not good, Sherlock.
Sherlock: Poaching Malcolm's bird is a bit not good, too, John.
John: I wasn't poaching, Sherlock. I was only chatting with Hoshi.

Whenever Sherlock spoke of "The Vulcan", it was with respect.

These are delicious! A Holmes/Reed duet is positively swoonworthy and I love the idea of him knowing all about the section. Delightful.

Two more:

1. Reed drew his phase pistol. “Let them go,” he ordered.

2. Paxton’s ex-wife was horrified. Thank goodness she had left him.

I just finished reading Mr. Smith's Someone to Ride the River With. It made me want to watch Sam Peckinpah's The Ballad of Cable Hogue again (and I could have since the work platform has been down all afternoon). I think it's because Archer reminds me of David Warner's character in that film. Reed's sobriquet, though, really struck me as funny. I think I get where Mr. Smith was coming from, but it still spawned this:

"Solitaire? Sounds like you're working in drag for Miss Kitty."

I'm looking forward to more stories in that 'verse, Mr. Smith. Believe me, I can use the laughs. :D

Returning to this thread:

1. Dolim sneered. Degra would soon pay dearly for his betrayal.

2. Archer smiled when he spotted the sign: The Captain's Table.
