The assignments have been made!

It's up to you if you want to reveal your period or not - or just discuss your progress.

:)

Good luck everyone.

Mwahahahaha. *rubs hands* I was right about this being inspiring. Mine is giving me at least a dozen ideas and I'm sorely tempted to... nah. I won't say just yet.

My period isn't the one I'm most knowledgeable about, but that's part of the fun of these challenges, right? ;)

I've got the first chapter and, I think, most of the second one already outlined. No idea how long this story's going to turn out (I'm not planning on it being too long, but you never know), so I might just start writing now and fill in the rest of the details as I go.

Yes, that is the fun, Skywalker! I think some of the best stories from last year came out of people not knowing much about their era!

Ohhh, I think I can make it a 2-fer, a story for my time period and another Drown Malcolm Month production. 8-) I'd been thinking about a new Drown Malcolm Month story ever since a locally produced PBS presentation reminded me about that particular maritime disaster. And what I'm finding out about those cheeseheads north of the (state) border!

Now that I've been able to do some research into my era, I've found there's an awful lot to choose from. I think I've got an idea of what I want to do, but I need a plot, dang it! :facepalm

Double post... sorry.

I've been working on my story in bits and pieces and have come to the conclusion that this could turn out to be one long story. I'm going to have to restrain myself if I want to finish it in a timely manner.

There's a dealine? Well, since mine could occur only in an AU brought on by Daniels and his pals, I figure that whenever I get it done will be "on time."

:D That sounds like a plot line to me!

Okay, so this is like a triple post, but it's been a month since the last one!

I'm finally making some headway on my story. There's just so much information for my era, and once I quit worrying about those details unless they're necessary to the story, I'm starting to get some writing done. This morning I wrote an entire scene in one sitting! The first chapter is finished, and I'm about done with the second, although I have no idea how many more I'm going to have to write. :writer
