Ok, since most of you hit the June word prompt in like the first week, I'm giving you another one to tide you over.

Same setup as before: I'll give you a word or short phrase, you write an Enterprise story based on it. You do not have to include the word or phrase specifically in your result. Any style is cool--drama, humor, romance, mystery, whatever. Any genre--slash, het, gen. No minimums or maximums on word length.

Write it. Get it beta read. Polish it. Archive it.

I feel like I'm leaving something out, but it's over 90 degrees in here so I can't think.

I actually have a completed first draft for this prompt. I just need to play around with it and fix some things, then find a beta for it.

I had an idea but it's sort of manifesting itself all drabble-y. Letting it percolate a little longer to see if I can develop it more, or if I should let it be what it seems to want to be.

I got this idea for a funny, ahum... teasing scene, revealing a secret of Trip. So hopefully I will have the guts to put it in writing. If I get my computer up again. :lol:

Questions Left Unanswered

T’Pol sank to her knees to spread decon gel on the backs of Trip’s legs. Rubbing the gel in her hands, T’Pol noticed the waistband of his underwear had slipped, revealing a blueish mark low on Trip’s hip.

Thinking he was wounded on the mission, she hooked her thumb in the waistband and pulled down to get a better look.

T’Pol’s eyebrow shot upward, “Trip, why is there an equine with a horn in its forehead on your hip?”

Sighing Trip hung his head, “Years ago I lost a bet to Jon…just drop it and spread the damn gel, T’Pol.”
