June TV-Land Mashup Challenge Discussion

Ok, the shows have been drawn and assigned. While I'm not anticipating this to be as deep and heavy as the history challenge, I thought it might be good to have a thread for discussing our progress, our speed bumps, research challenges, etc. Mostly, though, this was meant to be Big!Crazy!Fun! after the awesomeness of the history challenge.

I tried to pick shows that were iconic enough that most people have seen them at one time or another, and I"m pretty sure most of them are on Netflix.

My first road bump: "Leave it to Beaver."

Thank God TV Land is airing it since I haven't seen it in more than four decades.

I didn't get the one I really, REALLY wanted, but I think I'll have fun with what I did draw.

Nobody got the one I wanted. I had more shows than people, in order to make it even more random. I really wanted WKRP in Cincinnati, but that one sadly is still in the hat.

I've started mine as well! I should have it done soon, as it's not going to be that long.

*currently humming infectious theme song*

I'm still in the research and development phase. At first I thought I was going to do a "cast replacement" type of story, but now I'm considering a cast meetup.

Mine was, by necessity, silly and light! So, I wrote something silly and light and not deep! It's in beta. We'll see.

And I wrote from Travis's POV!

I have a plan. I hope I can make it work. Aquarius, could you stand being my beta again?

I haven't started writing yet, so there's plenty of time to decide.
