Fanfic reference in an episode?

In the episode 'The Forge', when Archer and T'Pol are trying to keep away from the Sehlat, Archer says that it "sounds like that Klingon opera Hoshi made us listen to".
There's a story that was written during season one called 'Going Klingon' by Starbaby (at ff.net and Trip/T'Poler's), and in it Archer is listening to...a Klingon opera! Mere coincidence?

Being a person who is convinced and I mean convinced that the writers of SGA stole my idea and made is into an episode I could see this being done. I know a few writers hung around different places online at the time of writers so it's plausible

I'm late to the party but I'm intensely curious as to which episode now.

In Trek Soap, we had Shran in the Expanse -- in a way -- long before he showed up in S3.
We spent a lot of time saying "they are SO reading us!" True or not, it always gave us a thrill when an idea paralleled ours.
