Series Rewatch Par-tay!

Heads up!

I've been wanting to do a rewatch of the whole series with a group of people who appreciate the show, replete with discussions, critiques, and squees. So I've been given the go-ahead to do something about that!

I'm thinking of starting in February, because of all the things already going on around here. Post a schedule of which episode when, links to online sources (they are legit as of this moment, CBS.com and Fancast, I think, have them up for viewing but I'm not sure how long that's going to last), and a discussion thread for each episode, maybe? Are there any resources for non-US viewing? I don't know!

Weekly? Would that work?

Let me know here if you are interested and I'll make sure you know when anything gets rolling.

Suggestions welcome!

Sounds like fun! Count me in. One episode a week sounds good. That would allow participants time to view each episode in pretty much the same time period.

You might schedule dates for comments on the episodes to begin, with no comments on upcoming episodes before a certain date so that we're all pretty much on the same page at the same time.

I have been lucky enough to get the first three seasons on DVD, and recorded the last season, so it's no problem for me to watch any particular episode.

If I may make one suggestion: do a separate thread for each episode. That way people can continue to discuss an episode even if the party's moved on to something else, and it'll keep the discussion from getting too tangled.

I think it's a great idea! I can't wait to start.

New Year's Eve I'm going to my BFF's house and we're going to have an Enterprise mini-marathon, which will be fun!

Sounds like fun! Count me in. I'll try to figure out a way to do it around my insane work schedule.

Here's some places to find episodes, although I'm not sure all of them are at any one place, and of course there are commercials, but all are free and legal.

Enterprise at TV.com

Enterprise at CBS.com

Enterprise at Comcast's Xfinity Fancast

Enterprise at Hulu.com

And yes, I like this board much better for inserting links. It's even easier than my MT board. 8)

I only see season 3 and 4 (and missing some episodes) at hulu.com now.

If I can get the disks from Netflix in time, I'd love to participate as well. It would be fun to watch with a group again. (Reminds me of those heady days when I picked up the series at the end of the third season and watched along with other fans, swapping comments online and grading each episode with a poll. -- sigh)

Well, I've already done reviews for most of the episodes. They can be read here. But it's been a while since I actually saw them. And I never finished season three, or got round to to remake my season four reviews (since my opinions have changed since I originally made them after they had just aired).

I can try and be in, but no promises.

But, knowing me, I could watch all four seasons in a week if I wanted. xDD

I would love to join in, but I know of only one website where I may be able to access all the episodes. The above links won't work for me because I don't live in the US. However, I do have most episodes recorded, so worse comes to worse I'll just join in those discussion or go on memory.

I'm in! This is a great idea! I've been watching random episodes on CBS.com for a while. Unfortunately that site doesn't have several really good episodes like "Home" or "Carbon Creek." I think they're doing it on purpose to get people to buy the DVDs. I remember discussing episodes online when they first aired. It was a lot of fun, but I think that it will be even better now that we all know all of the twists and turns the show and its characters will take. I don't know if I can wait until February!
