There's more A/R than A/Tu... and I'm a big fan of both. We need our own forum!

Representing! This is my favourite pairing and the one that makes the most sense, there's such a great connection between them and I can't wait to meet more A/R supporters!

I'm totally open to a Archer/Reed forum. I vaguely recall a A/R series over at W5 with them in a very intense, dysfunctional relationship. That could be all of them - but if I can dig those stories out - I'll post them here!

Here's Mareel's page from Warp 5. IMHO she is the queen of Archer/Reed. I love her work and I don't even 'ship those guys! She did an essay on her website that explained how she saw the pair, and it was very thoughtfully done. If I can find it again (it seems like I always find things while looking for something else), I'll link it here.

Honeybee, are these the ones you meant?

Shi Shi's The Scheme of Things

There's something for virtually everyone: A little Archer/Tucker and a little Tucker/Reed but mainly Archer/Reed. That would be Evil!Archer, though. They are all R or NC-17 and deservedly so.

Yes, those are the one's I meant!

Kudos for finding them based on my vague memories. I'm almost always resistant to Evil!Archer in the RU - since I don't think the character was evil - but those stories were an exception!

:thankyou

Hi all! Thank you for the forum!

Thanks so much to Glory1863 for the kind words for my A/R fic. I love hearing that people are enjoying it. I have some partly finished things I really do need to get back to, so this might be the motivation I need. :)

I think the essay you mentioned is one I wrote for a Ship Manifesto community and is at http://community.livejournal.com/ship_m ... 59790.html (Warning, image intensive.)

Looking forward to getting to know you all. I never tire of talking about these guys.

You're welcome, Honeybee. All I needed to do was search on Evil!Archer. Of course, it helps that I kind of like those stories myself. :)

Ohhh, Mareel is here! :happydance

I particularly enjoy your Archer/Reed drabbles. They're soulful and luminous. I'd like to read all of them in chronological order. I'm also curious about TrekSoap Jon and Mal that you said inspired some of them. Is that still on the web somewhere? My muse runs to Tucker/Reed, but your Lodestone/Anchor essay makes a powerful, well thought out case for Archer/Reed. Unfortunately, the link you provided doesn't seem to work.

I look forward to seeing new work from you.
