No, no... I read it, I just haven't added a comment yet (I was going to this morning, but my internet is being uncooperative), which was going to be...

That was my first time reading femslash, ever... (I know you had that other scene in previous chapter, but the boys were there for distraction). Anyhoo, you made the experience easy to take. I'm still not certain on the premise, but I wasn't repusled by it all. Plus you wrote Hoshi and T'Pol in a very believable way.

Why thank you, Pauline! I know femslash isn't the most popular genre around her, but I figured if I was to dip my toe in those waters, the MU was the place to do it. It's a place where sex is a weapon. T'Pol has thusfar avoided that human tactic, but she's not got much of a choice here. Tucker, we shall find out, first took up with Archer out of self-preservation. It's a similar situation, with different results.

The great irony is that Hoshi is such a master of the sex-as-weapon game, that she doesn't even consider T'Pol has ulterior motives. Her own arrogance will be her undoing.

And I look forward to that.

Yes, I'm like, 'Get an idea, honey!' However, every now and then you put the thought in my head that maybe Hoshi was aware of what's going on, that somehow T'Pol had also managed to bond with Hoshi, which may have been intriguing...

A bond could happen very easily - given Hoshi's latent telepathic abilities. She's certainly instinctively reading T'Pol's mind in that scene - something I think she does with all her lovers - to give them whatever they want. Only T'Pol's awareness and blocking of the impulses prevents a bond from forming or Hoshi figuring out what T'Pol is up to.

I'm cooking up a little sequel to the fic I did for BT, which has a totally more sympathetic Hoshi. In that one, the two women have definitely bonded!

Split this discussion into it's own thread!

And, I wanted to say I love how psycho Hoshi comes off in Scalene, Mistress.

I'll float the idea that if she became "friends" with T'Pol, as she does in Shakaik, she probably wouldn't evolve into such a psycho. T'Pol has a calming influence. But in Scalene, Hoshi has no one in her life to stop her from getting on the bus to crazy town. And least that's how I see it!
