Even though it's not an Archer/Tucker story - I will nominate the bathhouse scene from Honeybee's Love is Alive for best slash sex.

I will nominate Game Night Director's Cut for best slash smut and best Archer/Tucker under 2000 words.

And, I will nominate Honey by PaulineM for best Archer/Tucker drabble.

I'd like to put forward for your consideration one of my own drabbles:

A Christmas Wish

I know it's not the best writing in the world, but I love the sentiment.

And for the Best Archer/Tucker (Under 2000 Words), I'd like to nominate:

Game Night by Aquarius.

And for Best slash sex scene:

Scalene by Mistress Euclid - wicked, I know!

*goes away to think some more*

So okay, there aren't that many Archer/Tucker stories in the house. But these smaller 'ships--nominations are even more important to them, because if we can publicize winners/honorable mentions (stories that got enough noms but are unopposed), that may attract more attention from other fans of that 'ship...and then we get more members, and more stories. And so on.

The problem is, I'm told that despite the lobbying, not many people are doing any actual nominating. We gotta get a move-on, people! I know people are busy and have some crap going on in their lives, but really, even if you only do one or two every time you log on, it'll only take a couple minutes, then you can go abut your regular posting.

REMEMBER: lobbying for a fic in this thread or the actual Expanse Awards discussion thread is NOT a nomination. You must PM the author's name, title of the story, and the story's url to the Expanse Awards account for it to be official.

So let's go and make some noise for the sexiest slash 'ship on the planet!

I definitely think the opening of Mistress Euclid's Scalene deserves a nod for best slash scene.

And I'm definitely going to nominate your A Christmas Wish as best A/Tu drabble!

Um, I just realised that Scalene isn't a completed story. Can I still nominate chapter 1 for the best slash scene?

Technically, no! Sorry. And that's a great scene, too.

But the good news is: if Mistress Euclid finishes it by this time next year, it'll be eligible for the 2012 awards!
