Has it been done?

I was trying to figure out who (if anyone) to ship Hoshi with for a long, multi-chapter story I'm writing, and this pairing just sort of came to me. I don't think Hoshi/Soval will be the route I take, but it got me wondering if anyone else has done it in the past.

In some ways it makes sense: She speaks the Vulcan language and presumably knows the culture. He's an ambassador, so having a genius linguist at his side would be helpful if he ever leaves Earth for another assignment.

I can't think of any stories with a Hoshi/Soval pairing. It would make sense in the context you gave, Brandyjane.

I know I'd love to read a story with that pairing, especially if it raised eyebrows among Hoshi's crewmates. Couldn't you just see Trip and T'Pol both aghast at the relationship, and agreeing about not understanding it?

I've never seen that pairing before. But if you write it, I'd be inclined to check it out.
