Blond woman, blue eyes, telepathic? That sounds suspiciously like Rajiin. Nice mystery you have going on.

A little nitpick though. Was this chapter beta-read? I noticed a couple wrong words (extension instead od extinction and interrupted instead of interpreted). It's nothing major, but it is a wee bit interruptive to the flow of reading.

Author's Response:

Now who would that blond woman be? Thanks for the review, Kotik. The chapter was beta-read, I will have a look at the words you mentioned.

ooh, the plot thickens. Nasty nannites and even nastier radiation. A true science fiction tale :)

I like that Phlox gets so much attention in your story.

Author's Response:

Thanks, Kotik. I wanted to give Phlox a little more depth and emotions than we usual see of him.

Gripping prologue. What put T'Pol there? Longing for Trip, I' m hooked!

Author's Response:

Thanks tish! I am glad you liked the prologue. More mystery and more revalations to follow.

This sets a very dark tone for the story to come. I read it sometimes years ago, but since it is the prequel to World Of Ice, I reckoned a refresher was in order.

Those guards are scary and strike me as being in need of the odd logic refresher themselves. They appear to have a bit of an anger management problem.

Author's Response:

Thanks Kotik. Don't worry, the rest of the story is less dark. But the events in prison do have a effect on T'Pol and also on Trip. They also going to solve a mystery, but please read on to know more. ;)
