You know that for me this isn't cheating as I'm an A/T'P shipper primarily (ifI have to choose a ship.) The story was totally believable and a great read.
It's interesting that for Twilight, the orig script was going to answer the question of where the relationship had gone but Bakula suggested that they keep it vague (e.g. 'it's evolved.') He felt that by keeping that question unanswered, it would make a better story and for the show, I think that was right. Your take on that opening, though, is greatly appreciated.
Oh - you're welcome. I do think that the whole scenario is dysfunctional, but that's what makes it so delciious! It's rife with drama. Thanks for reading, reviewing and most of all enjoying.

So sad! I'm one of those who believes T'Pol did develop feelings for Archer as she cared for him, and I think Archer could easily fall in love with her, if they both were free of their responsibilities aboard Enterprise. His memory loss - and T'Pol's knowledge of the feelings he will forget - makes this all the more tragic.
I'm so glad you approve! This is me cheating on my OTP, but I do think that T'Pol could very well have developed a deep friendship based attraction very different from what she had with Trip, but no less valuable. I'm so glad you enjoyed the story!

I remember how subversive it used to feel, reading this story and enjoying it so much, knowing that I was "supposed to" feel like I was cheating on my OTP. But you know, this story takes a difficult situation that has no obvious or simple solutions...everyone involved is just doing the best they can, and that's all they can do.
And that's why I like it so much. That, and the smut doesn't hurt, either. ;-)
Oh thank you! I remember when you reviewed this over at W5 - and I knew I had met a kindred spirit. Sometimes I look at this story, one of the earliest NC-17 stories I did, and think - wow, that's hot! I'm glad I'm not the only one that thinks so!
