Ahhhhh. Very nice story and playing with Archer's psyche is always good.

This was very nice.  It always bothered me that Trip and Archer never talked about Sim.l  This was very well written.  Congratulations on a terrific story!

Author's Response:

Thank you very much! I always assumed that it was never talked about because Trip felt awkward and Jon felt guilty.  But it bothered me too.

I'm so glad you enjoyed it! :)

I like this!  I think it's very well-written indeed, and expresses Jon's point of view very well.  I hope you write more Trip/Jon stuff.  (There can never be too much well-written A/T fan fic, as far as I'm concerned!)

Author's Response:

Thanks Pippin!

I do intend to write more.  This has perked the idea in my mind of writing a series of "missing scenes" from the entire series that chronicles a relationship between the two.

I agree - there can never be too much A/T. :)

As I said earlier, I adore Similitude, and this story gives a beautifully romantic side to it. Yes, Jon was so very much in need of his engineer, and you have given us a great reason why.

Thanks!!!!!

Author's Response:

Thanks!! I'm glad you enjoyed the story so much! And thank you so, so much for helping beta it!

Deeply thought out and wonderfully executed! Enjoyed this immensley, Kylah!

Similitude is one of those episodes where I get more and more curious about actions and reactions. I'm so glad that you decided to go via Jon in this. Like you, I thought he got the raw end of the deal with the fans. He was in such a horrid situation, and what makes it even worse for him, was that he made his decision based on Phlox's advice, it wasn't his fault that it turned out differently!

Again, well done!

Oh, and I do love the romance here! :)

Author's Response:

Agreed! Jon made some tough choices in this episode, and I hated the way he was portrayed.  It was a no-win situation.  I don't think he was happy with the way things turned out, but he did what he could with what he was given.

Thanks for the feedback! I'm glad you enjoyed the story! :)
